Hia,
Okay. Not totally sure what I'm going to talk about, but you're damn sure I'll be talking about it!
Well, as a start, I'll bring up the User-Search function on the RuneScape forums. I find this tool *very* useful, I can find threads that I don't know the exact name of by searching a friend's name whom I know has posted on it, but I think that's exactly the problem.
There's no such thing as privacy anymore. Granted with some in-depth look-ins one could find out a players posting history (ish), but now you search a name and you can find anything they've posted going back months, even years.
A friend of mine and my fellow Blood Vipers leader, Sam Parki, has a massive 37,000 posts. His history doesn't even go back more than 4 months, because of the amount of threads he posts on. So doesn't this defeat the entire purpose of checking up a player's history? If he's active enough, you can't even see much of it.
Hm. Anyway, my doings these days amount to perhaps a quick check in during early morning, then off to school (hurray?). I get back around 4, if I'm not busy with friends, I'll go PKing with the public BH/BH+1 clan Welfarers. I'd actually like to mention what a great source of money this is for me. PKing with them is usually alot of fun, and okay I spend a fair part on supplies, but I've yet to die + I get EP while wandering around with them, alongside the occasional epic kill.
I'd definitely reccomend them, new-comer or not. Just make sure not to DC/Leave their CC while with them. If you DC, I advise to go to a safe world, get to a safe spot then hop back, as they tend to pile any sort of white dot they spot. Other than that, pretty good laugh + I usually make 1.2M per 25% EP!
That's enough from me, 'til next time.

I like, totally "didn't" forget about this!
Hey hey, bloggertarians!
Firstly, I'll appologize for not posting more often. I've come to realise now that no one follows my blog, but heck, it's a fun way to talk to myself.
So yes, remember those red masks? I kept playing about with them and failing with them, but as I said I got one at 37.5 and one at 38.9, which I sold at 38.9 (after a crash scare) and bought back at 40.25 after the next GE update, straight after an in-game update (a great time to put offers in). I sold them both at 41.8 I believe, making a tidy profit.
I went back to PvP/BH recently too. I've been PKing single & with Welfarers/Jaja Legion just to pass the time. Few kills except a 2M target kill yesterday (PJers *can* be win, apparently) but with the EP I've gained while wandering about with W & Jaja I've used tricking, making around 1.2M a time.
I must admit I had a God-awful target today. He lured me in 137 to his clan, but he didn't get the drop, so I kept him as a target. I hopped to 65 where he lost me after 10 minutes, but the game kept telling me to go back to 137, so I presume there were no other 116s he could fight (he was 117 in the first place, which was odd) which means I kept him waiting for a good hour or so before I even went back to normal worlds!
Karma, eh?

Hang on, they're rising? Again?!
Hey all.
Okay, time to talk about rising items!
The question is, why do items rise? I'm guessing our current situation is based around alot of "Summer crash" hype that didn't really result to much, alongside inflation due to BH Artefacts.
If you haven't heard about the inflation side, I'll explain. The idea is that the Bounty Hunter artefacts bring in so much raw cash that *everything* rises, the value of gold decreases. Players can afford bigger and better items, so bigger and better items go up in demand, increasing the price.
So that's why Armadyl Godswords are a staggering 90M.
Now, I'm currently trying to cash in on rares. I've bought a red mask at 37.5, and attempting to buy a second (offer atm is 38.9). If anyone would like to follow suit, hang onto your masks until about 3 days before Halloween. As for pumpkins, I wouldn't bother. You can't show them off so their seasonal value isn't there. Green and Blue masks are pretty good too, buy the ones you can afford. greens wont go up as much as blues, and blues not as much as reds.
If you want santa hats, buy now, they'll shoot up come November. The dump date for those is around the 21st of December. Likely we'll see some fluctuation with masks & santas, but it should balance out and there's almost a guarantee of profit in honesty.
As to Partyhats? They seem to be doing their own thing these days, the street price is anywhere between 30-100M above the GE price on any selected hat. (Oh, and if you were wondering on the street of masks, reds are around 50-60, blues near 40 and greens more 25-30).
Now, bringing back to my main point, I believe masks are rising *currently* due to one; inflation and two; hype for Halloween. If you plan to get a mask, you could be waiting a while. Your best bet is to get an offer in at max as soon as the GE updates. If you aren't online for that, put an offer in as soon as possible really, never bother putting one in a few hours before it's due to update.
My red took around 18 hours at max to buy, and the second didn't buy (I'd have got any that sold on the GE and all..) so hm, watch the GE if you're planning on a rare.

Machinima contests and Jagex.
Okay, I felt I ought to express my opinion about our latest "contest", the Jagex Machinima contest.
When it was released, I loved it. What a great idea to get budding video makers into the spot light for just how talented they are. I've a few friends that made videos, my favourite out of those, by Hello982, can be found here.
My personal favourite out of the six finalists was definitely "Mith sword" because of it's sheer brilliance and hilarity. He throws a box at him, to hurl a door back? :D
However, when they named the winner (which, unfortunately, we all knew was going to be Excl) I felt absolutely terrible for the other finalists. Why? Because each of them had no more than 2,000 subscribers at the beginning of the competition, and most of those were likely also subscribed to Excl, because they enjoy that style of video.
What I'd like to see, if Jagex ever repeat that type of competition? An ammature video maker's competition. Anyone with more than a couple thousand subscribers? No. I wouldn't have them taking part, it's like David vs. Goliath, except this time David is the boy who sits at the back of class playing his PSP.
Thoughts?

The wonders of spair time..
Ah, okay, turns out I have about 15 minutes to spair for you.
I suppose I ought to write about my clan, Blood Vipers. BV formed over two years ago now, near February. I joined near Easter 2008, and started leading around May? 2009.
If you'd like to join, our site is here. We also have an RSB thread which is more widely used.
If you want to jump in and chat, our clan chat is Sam Parki.
Alright, that's all the advertising I'll do on this blog, so don't panic.
But while I'm here, I'll just post some interesting/helpful RuneScape sites.
In a while all.

- RuneHQ - A great helpsite.
- TipIt - Great for treasure trails.
- PCE - A Pest Control Clan (109+)
- RuneTracker - A progress tracking site.
- RuneHead - A clan member database.
In a while all.

Good Morning RuneScape bloggers!
Hello there !
I saw Icey Dan1 (silentc0re)'s video on RuneScape blogging, and felt compelled to give it a go.
I guess I'll chat about my online persona. I've been playing RuneScape for a number of years.. About four now I believe, it'll be five come next Easter. I play because of a few reasons, one being that in a sleepy little village two hours walk from not even a city, but a town, has it's disadvantages. I suppose it's unlikely I'll be run over walking down the road, but then again to get to the nearest town I'll almost certainly be clipped by a car on the main road. So I play because I've not much else to do, I hope that much is clear.
My second and more valid reason is because I enjoy it. Not so much anymore, but I still find things to do here and there.
If you're interested, my current combat level is 126. I spend my time on RuneScape mostly with friends and clan members, alongside training those dreaded combat levels and occasionally, at a diminishing rate, skilling (Although I am partial to a game of Stealing Creation or five).
So I guess that's it from me for now, as I'm off out. I'll be sure to update this blog as much as I remember to do.
